Emma Clark

As a kid, I was always the one saying “Oooh, pick me, pick me!” when an opportunity would arise to read out loud in a group. Actually telling a story, rather than just reading words on a page, has always been very important to me, even from the time I started reading as a child. Then I fell in love with the power of video to tell compelling stories that could bring laughter or tears in just a matter of minutes. But life has a way of bringing a lot of unforeseen corners turned, and paths trailing off into dead ends.   So when the company I had been with for 10 years was going through its fifth round of layoffs, it only took me a short time to realize that this could be the beginning of something special. I forever left my J.O.B. and over two decades in the “cube-cicle” world of corporate America to follow my creative passion. With my two sons grown - one a talnnted classical and jazz trombone player and Army

Staff Sergeant, and the other a Naval Chief Petty Officer – I knew I was ready to take a leap of faith and strike out on my own. For someone who had always said, “Oh, I’m not the entrepreneur type”, the 2.0 version of me is joyfully embracing this amazing journey, and meeting the most wonderful, creative and encouraging people. My days are now filled with narrating audiobooks and shooting, directing and editing a wide variety of video, with an occasional game of volleyball at Doheny Beach in Dana Point, CA when I can work it in! I can only say with a heart of gratitude, I love my life!
