Nature can be disastrous, and at the same time, breathtaking. So are things you experience in this lifetime. Take, for example, finding and losing love, having and losing a child.

The choice to be destroyed or seeing God’s hand in the situation is yours. Allowing God to work within you does not always happen fast – in fact, more times than not, it is a slow, painful process until the day realize – you are on the other side. But on the other side of what? Pain, grief, sadness, loneliness, addictions, or whatever you are experiencing and struggling with right now. When you find yourself, remember God is not far from you. He loves you and has not forgotten you or your situation.

We are a people who err often, but still, we love our children, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. So if we can do this in our imperfection, then how much more so does the Lord, who is perfect, loves us!

Even in your imperfection, the Lord gives you good gifts. Sometimes they are not wrapped the way you expect. Be encouraged, my friend – you are never alone and take some time to notice the One who sees you!

Psalm 72:14 (NLT)

He will redeem them from oppression and violence for their lives are precious to Him

Psalm 17:8 (NAS)

Keep me as the apple of the eye; Hide me in the shadow of your wings

Matthew 10:28-31 (NLT)

Don’t be afraid of those who want to kill your body; they cannot touch your soul. Fear only God, who can destroy both soul and body in hell. What is the price of two sparrows – one copper coin? But not a single sparrow can fall to the ground without your Father knowing it. And the very hairs on your head are all numbered. So don’t be afraid; you are more valuable to God than a whole flock of sparrows.

Blessings,
